Rishi: Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome. Today is the sixth of the series of ongoing teleseminars with the master coach himself, Master Coach Dev.
Now, this is the final one that we’re having for this year, 2008. Of course we have... if you’ve been following us since the 24th September, we have again, this Wednesday, an extreme evening with Master Coach Dev. Greetings, master coach. Master Coach Dev: Hello and welcome. Rishi: I’m looking forward to your traditional, or rather... very interesting greeting. Every time you start a seminar, every time you end it, you always say, "Good morning". And that is one of the things... most confusing things for a lot of people. Most people say, it could be night or evening, hail or storm, or whatever... and you’d say "Good Morning". Now let’s start off this seminar by asking you this question: why "Good Morning"? Master Coach Dev: Rishi, good morning to you, and to all our fellow listeners. The reason we always start with a "Good morning" is because the mind can be conditioned to believe whatever you want it to believe. If you keep saying it’s morning, your mind begins to believe it is morning, and therefore, it is morning. And if it is morning for your mind, which incidentally, the mind cannot tell the difference between reality and imagination, the mind can believe it’s morning, and then you have 8 hours of free energy every single time that you say that. Rishi: That’s... that’s fantastic. Of course, if you’re not a morning person, then you’re in trouble. Master Coach Dev: Absolutely. Rishi: Master Coach Dev, questions, questions, questions galore. This is The Flying Singh coming to you live from the capital, Kuala Lumpur, and you’re listening to "An Extreme Evening with Master Coach Dev". Now, without much ado, let’s get down to the first question for this final show of the year. Tell me now, master coach, a little bit more about your background. How you got involved in the personal development world? And how did you get the rare opportunity to work with the man behind The Secret, Bob Proctor himself. Master Coach Dev: Yes, Rishi. I used to teach law in the police academy, and I taught law of 8 years, and I trained somewhat in the region of 10,000 students, which means I trained them to become disciplined police officers.
And on the 22nd and 23rd February, 1992, Bob Proctor was running a seminar in Kuala Lumpur, and I was out of town, and I heard about it, and I registered for the seminar, and I came to Kuala Lumpur to attend the seminar. And that’s what... exactly a week after the seminar I resigned from my job and I came to Kuala Lumpur and I told Bob, this is what I’d like to do with him. And I wasn’t the first person to have asked him that. And I believe every other seminar somebody walks up to him and say they want to do what he does. And incidentally, only one man has ever been able to do what Bob’s been doing, John Canary, who is his partner. And that’s how I got started. I asked Bob and Bob told me I had to go watch the video which is 11.5 hours long and I watched it a hundred times. Rishi: Wow! Master Coach Dev: And when I went back to KL, I met Bob and asked him what is the next step that I should move in to and he... he didn’t know what to say. But that’s how I got started with him. I left my job as a police, as a law instructor. I came to Kuala Lumpur to work with Bob Proctor and I had the opportunity to work with him for 5 years. And that was the only time he was in Asia, in Malaysia and stayed for a long periods of time. And I’m privileged to have him, to be one of the students of Bob Proctor. Rishi: An interesting story comes to mind, Master Coach Dev, about this time when… when you had to go and meet Bob in transit somewhere because he refused to give you any other time because the only time he had was when he was in transit in an airport waiting for the next flight. Now, tell us a little bit about that story. Master Coach Dev: Yeah, he was going on to... going on to... I think it was New Zealand. And I went to the airport and met him for a while and that was the only time I could meet him and it was worth it. Rishi: You mean you flew all the way for Kuala Lumpur to Auckland just to spend a few minutes with him. Master Coach Dev: No, no, he was in Kuala Lumpur. Transit in Kuala Lumpur on the way to New Zealand and that’s when I met him. Rishi: So you actually went into the airport to see him. Master Coach Dev: Yes, that’s right. Rishi: Fantastic. Now, people who are successful - there are a lot of them out there. But many of them have not heard of The Secret. Many of them have not heard of Bob Proctor or the Born Rich program. Now, what... how, how can they be what they are? How can they still manage to make it even though they didn’t know how they did it, but they actually got that? What do you have to say about that? Master Coach Dev: Well, a lots of people say that. I know someone who has never attended Born Rich, never heard of Bob Proctor, has never attended a personal development seminar in his life. How is it that he’s successful? So if someone can be successful without the programs, why then do we need the program? Well, whether they know it or not, they are following the principles that Bob teaches... any other personal development program teaches. They are doing them, following them unknowingly. Whether they know them or not, they are doing them exactly as they are taught in the seminars. And if they were to look at the steps that they do unknowingly, they’ll find them exactly the steps that are taught in the programs. So the only difference is that if they know what they’ve been doing, if they are consciously aware of the steps, they could repeat. That’s the only difference. So sometimes they succeed, sometimes they don’t. And sometimes they’re not able to take the success into different areas of their life. They may be very successful business people, but they may not able to bring to same success into their relationship, or their spouse ,or any other area. But if you know knowingly what you did, you can repeat it every single time and you can repeat it in every other area of your life. Now, the one unique feature about Bob Proctor’s program is that, lots of people’s programs, they feature on different aspects of life. May be somebody says to you, I can show you how to make a lot of money but I do not promise you that you’ll have a healthy relationship. Bob’s program is a package program, which means to say that, if you go for one area of life, you get them all because it’s the same process, the same principle, the same rules. It’s the same formula.
Whether you apply it in your personal life, in the professional life, in your relations, the family, in the house. It’s the same principle, which means you learn it once and you apply it across the board. Now you could only do that if you knew consciously what the formula was. So if you, by some fluke or some, some unknowing manner follow the principle and became a success, you probably didn’t know what they steps were, the order of the steps, what the complete formula was. So you wouldn’t probably be able to repeat it in that area or any other area of life. That would be the difference. Rishi: So basically, what you’re saying, Master Coach Dev, is that if you know what the formula is you will be able to replicate it. Master Coach Dev: Absolutely. Rishi: Fantastic! Ladies and gentlemen, welcome, welcome. If you’ve just joined us on an extreme adventure, an extreme evening with Master Coach Dev, coming to you live from the capital, Kuala Lumpur. Today is the sixth in a seminar series of an ongoing teleseminar with Master Coach Dev and this is the final one that you’re tuning in for this year. And for next year, we’re going to be announcing the many, many seminars that’s coming up, that are going to be helping you along the way, along the path. We’re going to be there throughout. My name is Flying Singh and I am here with Master Coach Dev with the next question. Before we go to the next question, this is personally something that I... I hold dear to myself. I have watched you over the last... I think I’ve known you for like 20, 25 years now. And I’ve been watching you do... the way you’ve been handling your program. And the thing that really gets to me, the Master Coach Dev, we used to call you Sukh Dev Success, those days... 1993. And the Master Coach Dev that I see now has grown, has developed so much over the years. The way I look at it, the Born Rich program is something so much more than what it used to be. And you have somehow added your own touch all over the place, and you’ve made it something very special. Could you just elaborate a bit about that. Master Coach Dev: Well, Rishi, I guess that I had the great opportunity to work at very close quarters with Bob Proctor. And one of the things that Bob taught us was to try to think the way he thinks. As a matter of fact, he always expected us to think two steps ahead of what he was thinking so that we could feed into everything he needed done. And by doing that, I feel I got to get into Bob Proctor’s head, which means that I could foresee what he would want, what he would require, how he would think, and why he was thinking the way he was thinking. So using that, using that... what lead to the Born Rich program is several things. If Bob were to create the Born Rich program in 2000... 2005... 2010... how would he have created it? How would the program have looked like? What would he have put into the program? What content would he have changed? Now, I don’t know exactly what he would have done but having worked with him for a long time, I’m able to predict some of the things... knowing... because there’s always a pattern. There’s always a certain way that Bob did things and I was able to predict some of them. And on this predictions, we have put in a lot of new tools into the program, which I assume if Bob were to create the program today, that’s what he’d be doing as well. Because he’s always current, always ahead of his time, he’s _______ and he always was, throughout his entire career, he’s always ahead of the masses. And we have put in new technologies that have developed in the personal development world, the mind science world. Things like hypnotherapy, things like NPL, timeline therapy, meditation, relaxation, tapping the unconscious mind, going into the state instead of alpha, or whatever other technology that’s available today, we have upgraded, we’ve kept on, keeping on track with the latest technology, making it the most current program which is available to you. All the current tools that anywhere else you find, putting them into the Born Rich program. So the essence of the Born Rich program still remains the essence of the Born Rich program, but we’re just teaching the Born Rich program with the new technologies available today. That’s what makes it a little different from the original Born Rich program in 1987. Some of these tools did not even exist then. So that is how we have kept pace and that’s how the Born Rich program looks a little bit different because it has been upgraded with the technology available today. And I believe Bob approves of them because he always believe in giving the best and using the current technologies that were available at this time, and therefore, at this present moment. Rishi: I love the way you say kept on, keep on, keeping on, and that is something you have been doing. Master coach, in this current economic situation, you’ve heard a lot about it. A lot of people out there are saying, oh, there’s not much there for training because companies are cutting down their budgets. They got barely have enough money to keep their staff. They’re not going to train them, everything is being pulled back. Now, what do you have to say about this current scenario? Master Coach Dev: Well Rishi, it’s ironic that when the economy slows down, and the first thing they do is they cut the budget for training, and that’s very odd. That’s actually an oxymoron in what they’re doing. Rishi: You got the moron part right. Master Coach Dev: Absolutely. Because... it is because at a times of economic slow down, people get demoralized. May be, may be, the organization makes lesser profit, therefore, the staff gets lesser bonuses, or no bonus, or no increment. And may be sometimes there are pay cuts, and this demoralizes people. And they actually downsize and let people go, which means if there’re 100 employees when things are good, and when things are bad, they cut them to 50 employees and expect 50 employees to work at 100 people capacity, and they’re demoralized.
